Give a Day Get a Day!

Disney this year is offering a Give a Day, Get a Day, where you do some kind of service and then receive a free Disney Land ticket. So we all signed up for the children's blankets. As part of the process you had to get pics of you all making the blankets and send them in. It was actually a fun time with us all making blankets together. Disney Land here we come!!!!

Oh Poo,

Isn't she just scrumptous! I love this little girl. She has fully blossomed into such a big personality. Yesterday, I was pulling weeds outside with the girls. I find it very theraputic...but no I won't come pull your weeds. Anyways, out of the corner of my eye I see Taylor rubbing something on the bark of the tree. And a couple of minutes later I hear Tori ask me what that stuff is that Taylor is playing with. So then I look a little closer and want to puke because she thought she was playing with mud I guess, but instead kept going back to a pile of poop in the grass. She thought it was theraputic too, to rub it all over the tree. So sick!!! And to make it worse I had to make lunch right after that. I washed my hands like 10 times, but still felt like they were too dirty to eat with.

Taylor loves to tease Tori, or makes funny exaggerated faces at us all the time. The cutest thing she doe slately is winks at us. She has now mastered both eyes. The daycare ladies at the gym LOVE for her to wink, and tell me that she is such a riot. Poor Tori still can't get it down.:)

Now to this little crazy kid. My little Tori has become the best helper. She cleans her room and makes her bed without me telling her to do it. Just yesterday her and Taylor made a mess on the wood floor with water colors and books. A little bit later I noticed it was all put away and she even got a napkin wet and wiped up the floor. I'm so happy to know that maybe Taylor will stop trashing the house someday and help me clean it instead :). Happy Super Bowl Day!!!

Hello Christmas Morning...

So it's been almost a month since I last posted. I finally cleaned my house after all the holidays festivities and therefore didn't have time to blog :). So we went to Brett's parents house in California for Christmas this year and had so much fun. His oldest sister Kristell and her family also stayed at Brett's parents house with us. It makes it so much fun to have them their with us because Tori is in "cousin heaven."

So Brett's dad set up the dining attire again in the garage/kids playroom.

His dad also turned their backyard into a miniture golfcourse. Brett spent most of his time there :).

Taylor was lovin it.

The kids loved playing skeet ball and making a mess out there.

Here's my cute nephew Cole, the only boy out of 10 grandkids. Poor guy.

Tori, Kennady, and Kensley.

Here are all of Brett's siblings: His sister Cammie and Sean

His sister Theresa and Brady.

His Brother Cory, Camie, and Kobie.
And his sister Kristell and Luke.

Brett's cute parents.

Brett and his Grandma Lorraine.

Here is Tori's "Cousin Heaven." Can you tell which side of the family she comes from. Bailey the oldest who is holding her looks like she could be her older sister.

Here's Theresa's cutie pie, Lily.

And of course Santa came and brought everyone P.J.'s.

Taylor was absolutely in love with Santa. She could not get enough of him. Every chance she got she would throw her arms around him.

Deer in headlight shot, love it. And yes I sometimes let my kids watch Spongebob, don't judge me. Taylor loves him a little too much. Had to get her these and she screeched with joy.

Finally a family shot.

I took this to show all the work Brett's mom does to wrap each present, she's crazy/awesome!

And, the end of this journey leaves Tori riding off into the sunset with her new Hello Kitty Bike. The End.

Taylor Family Christmas Party!

So this year we were in California but we still had a Christmas party with my fam before we went. It was a lot of fun, way too much food...but delicious. Tori and I made a snowman cheese ball. It was funny/sad because she wanted her cousins Tyler and Audrey to see it before we ate it, but they came really late and so people kept eating the back of it, and by the end she was in tears. But then they showed up and she was fine again. It's funny what a perfectionist Tori is at everything. Lately she has been spelling words non stop. She sounds them out herself and comes up with words that sound right but aren't spelled right. And sometimes she explodes like the incredible hulk when she finds out she's wrong. She's such a sweetheart though, today I was napping while Taylor was, in Tori's room while she was playing. When I woke up she had surprised me and cleaned up her room, the living room and, and my bathroom. And during my nap I could feel her kiss my forehead a couple of times. I'm so thankful for my angel.

Anyways, my mom had Britt and Katie dress up like angels, Dave dress up like a shepherd, and my Dad like a wiseman, and then interviewed and let the kids interview them. It was really cute. We later made a gingerbread (graham crackers really) village. I want to make that a new tradition because the kids loved it. We were so impressed at Katie's house that we had her take pictures sawing and leveling it out. She's awesome.

Uncle Dave and Taylor.

Here's some sheperd's and wisemen :).

My hot mama.

Cute Thompsons.

Dave and Katie.
Cutiepie Emmie.

Our gingerbread village extravaganza. I love Audrey's koolaid mustache... I always had one of those when I drank punch.

Tyler was so cute and creative with his house. Taylor was just loving the candy.

Here is one "wise guy" and his "slave boy" is what he called Ty.

And of coures beautiful Britt.

Family pic by the tree :).

We set up table's in the garage and we fit pretty nicely.

Here is Katie concentrating on her precision cuts, lol.
