Photo Shoot 2007

My Sweet Angel!

Photo Shoot Continued

Every picture that Tori looked perfect in, Taylor was doing this!
This one was my favorite of both of them.
I thought this dress from Gap would be cuter on, but she kind of looks like a big sweater butter ball.

My favorite one of Tori!

Marshmellow Time!

Brett roasts marshmellos by our fire pit almost every night with Tori. She loves it!
Why is it every time I tell her to smile, I get a picture like this. By the way that's marshmello on her face.

Jacquita Bonita's World Famous Salsa

I actually stole this recipe from my Uncle, but it's been modified a little. It is the best salsa, but leaves you with bad breath for a couple days. Here's the recipe:

1 large can of peeled whole tomatoes
1 can of diced tomatoes and green chilis
a handful of cilantro
1 small to medium onion
3 average cloves of garlic
1 lime
1 tbs of sugar
1/2 tsp of salt
1/4 tsp of cumin
In the oven @ 400 bake 1-3 jalapenos, depending on their heat, for about 15 minutes
Add all ingredients into a food processor and blend to desired consistency

Corn ala mode

This was a lot of work for me. I brought the bad of frozen corn and butter and somehow it got put into a pot and was warmed to perfection.
Yesterday was a really good day for two reasons. First of all we got to hang out with the family all day and eat. Second, and most importantly I fit into a normal pair of jeans for the first time since Taylor was born. I've been wearing sweat shorts and velor pants everyday for over a month. Sorry, Brett! And just in time since we are finally out of the 90 degree weather. Now if I could get rid of the stretch marks, saggy belly, an inch off each arm, cellulite around the buttocks area, couple inches off the love handles, go down a chin size and up a bra size, then we'd be all good. I got a membership to LA Fitness so hopefully I can get rid of the after pregnant bulge. I want to go to one of the spinning classes but they look so scary! Anyways, yesterday we had Thanksgiving at my sister's house. We had so much food of course, and grazed all day like a herd of cattle. My contributions as you will see above were corn and my world famous salsa that I left in the car all night. I'm so sad! It's for the best because I can eat a whole batch in a day. We watched the movies "Hairspray" and "Scorched" and I actually thought "Hairspray" was better the second time I saw it. Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving Day!

Grandma Teri

This is Tori's Grandma Teri. She came to see the new baby, and Tori worshipped her the whole time she was here. Tori never cared that I held the baby, but she never wanted Grandma Teri to hold Taylor. The whole day after Grandma left Tori would wimper and tell us that she is sad about her leaving. I couldn't get her to change out of these pajamas that Teri bought her. She had been wearing them for almost two days and I finally had to take them off of her while she was screaming. Sad, but we are actually leaving the house to take Taylor to the doctors.

New Winter Outfit

Tori went shopping with me because she has grown out of all her clothes. I like to have her opinion,(sounds wierd since she's two), because half the time I buy her stuff she won't wear it. Anyways almost everything we bought is for cooler weather, and nice how it's 95 degrees outside! But Tori doesn't care, she still wants to wear all her new clothes.

Halloween Day!

My pictures are all in the wrong order because I really have no idea what I'm doing. Oh, well! Tori was first going to be a fairy princess for Halloween, but later decided to be a spider girl. She even posed some scary faces for me. She definetly takes after me because she loves scary movies and things. She wouldn't leave this lady's house who had a fake barbeque with a foot and hand roasting on it. She seriously stared at it for five minutes straight. She had so much fun with her little fairy friend Keia.
