This is how we feel after our long week of pigging out, staying up late, and non-stop fun! More pictures to come...

Issues...

First, you can see how ugly it is to put your tree up on a sawing horse, and then trying to cover it up with a blanket. Lovely, but what am I to do with my 14 month old? Next, you might think, Jacque dresses Tori so strange, and not very cute.
But here are the issues:
The girl freaks everytime she has to wear underwear, so that means she freaks out everyday. She stresses about "it's in my booty." I have to hear her say that at least 20 times a day. It is also magnified when she gets buckled in a car seat.
If I dare make her wear pants, jeans are out of the question, unless like last week for the family picture, I threatened Santa wouldn't come, and that she'd only have to wear them for a couple of minutes. She told me at the age of 18 months that "jeans hurt" her. So we love the wonderful world of cloth and velour pants.:) And even those "are in my booty!"
The worst of all to me, is the toe-foot issue. She will not wear socks, if I put them on her she has a panick attack as if I locked her in a coffin or something. Her skin is really sensitive like mine so she get blisters easily. So even in the winter, even at church, she wears flip-flops. So ugly, I know! She has a pair of brown Mary Jane's that she'll wear if I beg her, and they are a size too big so they don't bother her very much. She tells us that she has a "toe problem."
I almost forgot her latest one, which is short necklaces. She starts gagging like I'm choking her until I take it off. AAAAHHHHH!
I think I need to look into a good psychiatrist! (Actually, I'm not worried, I know she gets all these wierd things from me.)

So between, pants, shoes, and jewelry, and her wanting to pick out her own clothes, she usually has interesting look. Now you can know it's not my choice. At least Taylor will let me put anything on her. She can be my little baby doll. She's actually obsessed with shoes and would wear two pairs if it would work.

Finally an official family picture...

We finally took a family picture and Taylor is only 14 months old. :)
Brett even endured some poses for me.

It was funny because we told everyone to wear jeans and a dark shirt, and everyone showed up in black.

I swear we are sisters from the same mom and dad.

Brittney's cute boyfriend Michael, and her getting cozy by the tree. Do I hear wedding bells?

My little Sister Britt and Taylor's crazy, but awesome hair.

I seriously love this picture because she makes this face all the time. She also makes a Auww sound. She does it when she sees a dog or a baby she wants to pet.

I love how my parents dogs had to be in the picture. From left to right: Grandma, Dave, Katie, A.J., my dad, my mom, Britt, Kris, Doug, Me, and Brett w/ Tay. In front Tyler, Audrey, and Tori.

This was our "Crazy Photo" if you click on it, Brett's face is pretty awesome, but Tori's muscles are my favorite.

Family Pics and Here's The Deal...

Probably the best shot of them.
I thought Taylor was going to be the hard one, but it was Tori. She would never look at the camera, ahhh!

Luv, Taylor's face in this one.

Tori practicing her boxing moves that I didn't know she had.

My two little angels. I think of them as angels when I see them in pictures like this or if they are sleeping.

So Tori learned what a "deal" means a couple of months ago, and has been offering them ever since. Her deals are always something like this:
Tori: Can I have ice-cream?
Me: No, you have to eat breakfast first. If you eat your whole waffle, I'll let you have some ice-cream.
Tori: Here's the deal Mom. If you let me eat ice-cream and not waffles, I'll let you watch the news.
Me: No way Tori!
Tori: Okay, then you don't get to watch the news.

or

Brett: Tori it's time to go to bed.
Tori: I want to watch another cartoon.
Brett: No, it's too late, you need to go to bed, now.
Tori: Here's the deal, Dad. If you let me watch another cartoon, I'll still love you, and you'll still be my dad.

Taylor's new favorite past time.

I know I'll miss these days when she's older. Not the teething, whining, tantrums, rashes, or poopy diapers, just these cute little moments.

Tori's always hiding under a blanket and asking me to find her. As I pretend I have no idea where she is and then suddenly find her she asks,"Mom, how did you know?"

I saw this personality test on my friend Courtney's Blog. I am a ESFJ
(Extroversion, Sensing,Feeling,Judging)

Feeling types seek continuity through harmonious relationships and collective values. They excel at picking up on the tone of a situation and acting accordingly, adding warmth to a cool setting or turning sour into sweet. They will naturally seek to know what people do well, what they enjoy, where and how they work, and understand what they need in order to make the appropriate connections with other people. They weave and strengthen the collective fabric of social conventions and interactions.
Let an extraverted feeling type know that you are in need of an accountant and they will most likely give you several names. They seem to have an infinite number of acquaintances from all walks of life and are always on the lookout for people in need and those who can help out. Inclusiveness is important and they are particularly sensitive to those who are excluded.
Harmony comes from good, supportive relationships and upholding collective values. They are always focused on the other person, feeling a glow when those around them are happy, and troubled when something is amiss. They are natural cheerleaders, often expressing support, gratitude, and encouragement, and heaping praise onto those they appreciate. They take note of what is being done and what needs doing, offering their help and assistance wherever necessary.
As team players and project leaders, they have a gift for rallying their players, focusing on what is being done right and each member's strengths. They are loyal and they expect loyalty. They carry conversations well, finding common ground with their speaker. They tend to find the correct and gracious way to respond in any given situation, no matter how tense or uncomfortable it is.
It is well to note that extraverted feeling types will uphold a wide range of values, simply because shared values are what create harmony. Some will profess the importance of tough-minded logic, justice and scholarly debate because their environments have these shared values. They tend to adopt the collective values of those they love and 'belong.

I have skirt ocd...

So, I've gotten a little obsessed lately with making Tori and Taylor skirts. You should see my dining/sewing room. It's a lot easier to sew when you can just leave it all out. I bought a bunch of $3 shirts and sewed matching material on them to make a cute outfit. Tori refuses to wear jeans so it's great for her to have all of these skirts to wear. The one above is my favorite right now, til I make another I'm sure.
I already showed this skirt, but wanted to show the shirt I added.

This one is a little funky/wierd, but I still like it.

This one I was trying to use the sparkly trim again and it ended up looking like a no love shirt above. So below I added another stripe, and it now can be cross my heart. I wish I would have left the heart alone.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We went to Brett's parents house in California for Thanksgiving this year. Tori was in Heaven of course with the motto," I don't want to Eat, Sleep, or Pee in Toilets." She's still in detoxt right now. Taylor was cutting molars the whole time so I slowly became a stress case that magnified each day. But we all had such a fun time. Grandpa Wally heated the pool to ninety degrees and the kids even swam in the rain. My whiteness wasn't feeling like putting on a bathing suit, so I didn't.

Swimming in the rain.

Cute little cousins making cookies.

My sweet Taylor, whining, Rae.

Grandma Teri had this amazing Disney Land train game that I would never buy because it was so much work, but they loved it.

Can't help but to put this in.

Teri made these amazing pies that were so cute!

Tori played dress up and looked like a poor child from the "Great Depression."

Brett and my favorite mother-in-law.

Of course what she does when I say to smile.

I went to the movies with my Aunt Tami, isn't she a hottie?!

If they won't let me swim, I'll just pretend.

These pics were so sweet!
