I have skirt ocd...

So, I've gotten a little obsessed lately with making Tori and Taylor skirts. You should see my dining/sewing room. It's a lot easier to sew when you can just leave it all out. I bought a bunch of $3 shirts and sewed matching material on them to make a cute outfit. Tori refuses to wear jeans so it's great for her to have all of these skirts to wear. The one above is my favorite right now, til I make another I'm sure.
I already showed this skirt, but wanted to show the shirt I added.

This one is a little funky/wierd, but I still like it.

This one I was trying to use the sparkly trim again and it ended up looking like a no love shirt above. So below I added another stripe, and it now can be cross my heart. I wish I would have left the heart alone.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We went to Brett's parents house in California for Thanksgiving this year. Tori was in Heaven of course with the motto," I don't want to Eat, Sleep, or Pee in Toilets." She's still in detoxt right now. Taylor was cutting molars the whole time so I slowly became a stress case that magnified each day. But we all had such a fun time. Grandpa Wally heated the pool to ninety degrees and the kids even swam in the rain. My whiteness wasn't feeling like putting on a bathing suit, so I didn't.

Swimming in the rain.

Cute little cousins making cookies.

My sweet Taylor, whining, Rae.

Grandma Teri had this amazing Disney Land train game that I would never buy because it was so much work, but they loved it.

Can't help but to put this in.

Teri made these amazing pies that were so cute!

Tori played dress up and looked like a poor child from the "Great Depression."

Brett and my favorite mother-in-law.

Of course what she does when I say to smile.

I went to the movies with my Aunt Tami, isn't she a hottie?!

If they won't let me swim, I'll just pretend.

These pics were so sweet!

Finally got the craft bug....

My awesome sister Brittney does my hair now. I waited 10 years from the time she told me she wanted to go to beauty school. She is such a talented hair dresser. We went a lot redder this time and I love it.

I finally pulled out my sewing machine after being put away for over a year. I made Tori and Taylor some Christmas skirts. They are modeling them here for me. I loved how they turned out.

My little dolls!

I didn't write on my face!

So Tori's latest obsession is drawing on herself and anything else she can find. Since she knows the markers are washable she seems to think its okay to turn herself into a blue cheetah. We asked her why she drew on her face and she defensively said, " I didn't!" So Brett and I started laughing and that made her madder and she still insisted she didn't. So I said then look in the mirror. That made her mad again, and she still said she did not draw on her face. The only way I could get her to look in the mirror was to tell her she had food on her face. So when she looked in the mirror she said," OHh Ya, I did draw on my face!" She's nuts!
Here's snuggle bear trying to copy her sister by drawing on paper.
Taylor is fully walking now and loves to climb, go down slides by herself, and give her sister kisses. They both loved the little play area at the San Tan Mall. I did too because there was no sandy mess!

Tori's Preschool Halloween Party...

Tori had been counting down the days until her school Halloween Party. That morning she runs out of her room and yells,"It's my party today!" Of course when I tell her to look at the camera and smile, these are what I get.
"Smile and look at the camera!"
She told me she was a mean witch, not a nice one. She kept asking if anyone at her school would know who she was. If I would say no she would say why, for reals or pretend, but why, blah, blah, why? If I would say yes she would say, but how can they with my makeup on .......Blah, blah, why, blah, blah, why? I can never stop a long line of questions.

Fairy Party

I love Liz Richins! She had a fairy party Thursday night because the Tinkerbell Movie came out on DVD. It was funny because we had to transform Tori from a witch into a fairy, but luckily the pink hair was perfect. They started out, outside with a ton a fake make-up to play with. They were all in heaven! She even let them make their own little pizzas.
I love this picture! Liz is so awesome, when I went to pick up Tori, I went up the stairs and there I was in Pixie Hollow. She had fairies and butterflies hanging from the ceiling. She had pink curtains with feather boas draped over them. And fabric swagged everywhere with flowers on it. She made it so magical for them. Tori told me that is was the best party ever!

That night I had to call her Tinker-Tori Bell.

Halloween Night

Tori wanted to do her own make up this time. She seriously spent an hour doing her face. She did a good job making her face look like it was decaying.
