Tori's only request was that we go on her favorite ride, Toad's Crazy Ride. (i think that is what it's called??) Anyways, we have read her the stories about him, and she loves thinking she is driving the car. Here she is pretending to be a crazy driver.

And here is the whole gang minus my dad. He was lacking energy and was chillin at the hotel for a break. At the end of the day when we all had our fastpasses out and started in for the line to Indianna Jones, we realized that this ride required you to be 46 inches not 42. So Tori didn't make that height, and luckily my dad took her for us so we could still go. He was so awesome and took her on the Jungle Cruise, Tiki Room, and they watched the parade together.

One last funny story i will write about so i don't forget about is when we were waiting in line for Buzz Light Year. Everyone but Tori and I went to go on Space Mountain. I knew she would probably freak out on that ride so I opted for Buzz since I've never been on it. Anyways there were 3 couples in line behind us who spoke Spanish and they all looked about in there 20s. This one guy started to smile and touch Tori's hair in a child like way. Hard to explain, but i really could tell that they were taken with her blond hair and blue eyes, and weren't trying to be creepy, but were just from a different culture. Anyways, the girlfriend asked by pointing to her camera if she could take a picture of Tori. So I decided to let her and all the sudden the guy picks Tori up and holds out her arms, and poor Tori's face was like, what the heck is this guy doing mom? So after that I tried to keep her in front of me, because everytime she was to the side of me he would fluff at her hair. So weird and kind of funny cause Tori was so creeped out. That line was way to long to be stuck next to these people who were obsessed with her! Ahhh, :).
But our trip was so fun, and just stress free. Til, next year!

Yay, I'm Five!!!

So I think she's had a count down since her last birthday. And five just seemed so important to her, like it made her an official Big Girl. She picked out this "goblet" (Tori calls it in an almost English accent) to eat at her birthday dinner.

My mother-in-law gave me an embroidery machine for Christmas, and I finally took it out to have a try at it. So I monogrammed a T for her. I'll post some other fun things I've been making with it later. Her outfit was the only thing she opened that morning, because she wanted to wait til the night and be surprised with the rest of her presents. My mother-in-law (Teri) also brought to my attention that I could still pass down all Tori's monogrammed shirts to Taylor.:)

She asked if I would let her wear full on make-up to her party since it was her birthday, and I agreed. Isn't she a beauty?

Aunt Brittney.

I triple barreled her hair and thought it would be fun if I was matching :).

We came outside to pose for some pics and Taylor wasn't really in the mood and wanted to have her monkey's in it.

Well I got one fuzzy shot with Taylor, Tori, and "Goblet."

We decided to have a family party this year, so here's Tori and Audrey who Tori looks up to soo much.

Britt, Mama, and Kris.

Brett never fails to give me good poses.

Nana "B" and Papa.

Kris and Emmy.

Tori was so excited for her fun Care Bear cupcake cake, and so was I. Hee, Hee.

It was so funny when she was trying to blow out her "one" candle. It took her like five tries!

Numm , numm.

And here is the frosting princess. She loves dragging her fingers in it and licking it off. She also loves feeding it to Papa. He was such a good sport!

Tori loves her Nana.

And now for the awaited present time. I think I was more excited about her opening them than she was.

Grandma Desi and Papa got Tori the cutest artist easel and giant markers. Taylor was on his lap the rest of the night drawing, so cute.

Tori scored in the present department.

Me and my babe.

Katie and Dave.

These two were hilarious licking the frosting off the leftovers.
Emmy decide her whole hand was neccessary for shoveling cupcake in, so funny.
I had to put this picture on here because I laugh every time I look at it. She was trying to do one of her,"aren't I so beautiful" poses I think. Ha.

Having fun at Peter Piper.

And the crazy pose. :)

Eating Issues.....

So Tori has been doing good for a while. What i mean by that is she can wear jeans and underwear now without screaming,"they're in my booty!" The whole shoes covering her toes thing is iffy. She can get herself to wear tennis shoes if she doesn't wear socks, but I usually hear her scream or grunt from the other room trying to get over that there bothering her. When I ask what's wrong she usually answers in a normal voice, "nothing." But it seems we have a new one folks. Actually it might just be a repressed one. She used to do this alot around 1 1/2-2 years old. She would fill her mouth up with olives or nuts and chew them up, and then just hold it in her mouth. And then later would have to spit it out because she just couldn't get over the texture. Anyways, it started a couple of weeks ago with popcorn, which I thought she had mastered this last year. All the sudden she would look at me and say, "mom, i can't chew it." And she would show me her mouth full of chewed up popcorn. Then it was bananas, and oranges, and other randomn foods.
So this past weekend our Young Women's had to do our fundraiser for camp, and I was in charge of helping decorate the cultural hall. Anyways, one of our services was babysitting at night, which I took advantage of. So before Tori went she was explaning to Brett how she couldn't chew certain foods. And he told her she has eating issues. Did he really give her a name for her weirdness? No, please don't do that because I know she'll think it's real like how she told me she must be allergic to popcorn now. So that afternoon I had to go buy her some chicken nuggets because she has an eating issue with quesadillas apparently now, and I wanted a salad from there anyways. Well that night at the babysitting service they fed the kids quesadillas, of course. So, that night when I go to pick her up, everyone starts telling me how Tori was telling them all about her "eating issues" as if it's some eating disorder. So funny. She would tell them she can't chew quesadillas, but cupcakes? No problem. And then on Sunday I heard it from about 4 more people who had a concerned look on their face.
So this week I had to tell her she doesn't have anything wrong with her and maybe she just needs to take small bites. So that has helped with some foods, such as quesadillas. But she has come to me with mouthfuls wording that she took too big of a bite.
I love this crazy girl who makes me laugh at all her quirky things that bug her!!!

Little Trip to the San Tan

We went to San Tan Mall last week to let the kids play, get an ice cream cone, and check out Tinkerbell's.

My girls cheesin it up for me.

Then, I went out to dinner with some friends i hadn't seen in months. We went to Oregano's. It was only my second time, and i discovered how cheap and delicious their salads were, yum.

Well, Happy Valentine's Day to you!

Tori's face cracks me up, my little poser. Of course I had to make some kind of Valentine skirt for her school Valentine party. I didn't get one with Taylor wearing hers though. Probably because Taylor and I didn't get ready till about noon that day. I ended up watching three two year olds that morning.

They sure are cute, but very busy. I could never have triplets and be sane :).

Here's daddy and his girl.

So this is a picture from Saturday night before Valentines Day. We all went out to eat and then went laser tagging. I was skeptical about going since i hadn't been in a decade, but it turned out to be really fun. It's funny how your adrenaline can get going running around a room trying to not get shot.

Happy Valentine's Day!

So on Sunday we went to my family's house and were surprised by the fun decor. Katie went all out!

One of my dad's cute posters. :)

So my dad thought it would be funny to come out wearing my mom's hot pink satin shirt to add to the decor. (please don't do that again :) hee hee).

Taylor showing off a carrot she later chews up and spits out.

My mom made the best dinner. Roast, garlic mashed potatoes, and Katie made an awesome salad and some festive homemade heart rolls.

More of the gang.

So I leave my dad alone with my kids and a bunch of diapers and this is what you get.
