Sneak Preview...

My good friend Gina Murray from Artistic Impressions Photography took pics of my girls on Monday, and she leaked me one photo. Taylor's wearing her Easter dress I made. I felt like I spent so much time making their dresses that it would be fun to have good pics taken of them. I'm so excited to see the rest!

My New Blog...

I've decided to start a blog with painting, sewing, crafts, cooking and decorating. I'll also have tutorials for sewing and painting. I'm going to have some fun and cute giveaways soon, and post 3-5 times a week. Ashley from The Cutest Blog On The Block helped me to set it all up, but were not finished. But, I would love for anyone to check it out. Next week I'll have some sewing projects that I've been working on. Thanks! Click on Banner.

Taylor Update...

So Taylor just cracks us up all the time now. She speaks alien/chinese/english. Sometimes she'll repeat the same thing over and over to make sure we understand what she's say, but sometimes I have to pretend so she'll be quiet. I'll ask her,"How's my baby?" and she says,"No, it's me Taylor." Or if you say, "Hey cutie, or sweetheart, or sunshine, or princess" the reply is always, "No, it's me, Taylor." I love it.
She loves nursery at church and begs to go the whole first hour. She's such a tough little thing, always falling or hurting herself and usually pretends to cry or have a sad face. I love how fake drama she is. She furrows her brows and pouts her lips and makes fake whimpers when she thinks it's appropriate, and as soon as you give her a good "aww or moan" she smiles.

She's our little comedian and is always making some crazy face or dancing some funny dance to get us to laugh. It's funny cause I can barely understand her but I've heard her counting in English, Spanish, and Chinese. Love Noggin :).

I got this weird looking giraffe from IKEA a couple years ago and she brought it to me the other day, and said,"look mom, a bronchiasaurus!" I was so baffled that most of the time I can barely understand her and then she says something like that, lol.

Here's Taylor trying not to smile for me, love it.

Tori Update...

I have been absolutely loving how these two are such buddies now. They finally can play together now, and it's so cute. Tori is always the runner and Taylor is always the chaser. It's so funny cause she's always pretending she's gonna pinch, bite, lick, or in some way hurt Tori just to get her to run from her. Tori loves it but tries to act sometimes like she's doesn't. But whenever I say I'll stop her she say, oh it's ok. Taylor just laughs the whole time.

I was just messing with my camera. Still haven't really tried much with it. I love how Tori will either do her own poses, or do whatever I request.

Tori just started piano and loves it. She loves practicing, so that's a good sign :). She'll start kindergarten this summer and is pretty excited about it. She only wishes her preschool teacher, Miss Autumn, could be her teacher forever.
She is the best helper and expresses love to us constantly. She loves making new friends wherever she goes, and still asks me 134 questions a day.

Easter 2010

So we had Easter at our house this year, and had my whole family over. We started off the day with the girls finding their easter baskets which they loved.

I found these cute little fuzzy bunnies with a mommy and 3 babies, and they entertained them for a week!

We had lots of busy hands helping to prepare everything. Our meal was so yummy. We had chicken salad crossaints, my dad's famous barbequed artichoke, baked beans, pasta salad, homemade lemonade, and a trillion cupcakes.

Here are the guys happily setting the table outside, lol.

Not this guy though, :).

And here's an ad for Juicy Juice. I want one now, don't you? :)

I had my sister Britt take pictures while we were cooking and I laughed when I saw these!

It was like those cupcakes were multiplying. I think I had 5.

I was cleaning out our Young Women closet and found a tarp that was cut up and needed to be thrown away. But then I remember seeing a craft with bunnies made out of burlap and thought it would be similiar enough. And then I thought it would be fun to use my embroidery machine, and use these bunnies for place settings. ;)

Here's Tori trying to get in as many cupcakes as possible.

I love decorating eggs, and this year got tie-dye, and sparkle egg kits. We had the kids take off their shirts so they would stain their clothes.

Love the colors!

This is how Emmy Easter egg hunts. She is such a diva!

Brett hid all the 9 trillion eggs we stuffed with candy. (Which by the way, i'm still sneaking into my mouth daily).

Nana helped Emmy with her hunt.

And now to the counting! So much fun. It was great listening to conference in between all the fun, and hearing all the wonderful talks. I'm so thankful for my Saviour and this Easter season which we can celebrate his ressurection.

For the "underwear party!"

So i helped my sister make her bestfriend a memory board for her bridal shower the other week. And i thought it would be funny/cute to put some cute undies on it instead of pictures, lol:). So Tori saw me add them and was laughing hysterically. I told her that she could go with me to the bridal shower, and she was excited. Then the whole way there she told me in her comdedic way that she was happy she was going to the "underwear party", and everytime she would say it she would laugh so giddy. She loved that she made a name for it. She just thought we were trying to be funny (which we were) by putting underwear on it. It was awesome when Natalie opened our present. She was expecting a memory board but not the underwear and turned bright red. ;)

Sewing Frenzy...

I've seriously been sewing everyday lately and loving it way too much. Everytime a baby gift is needed I lose control. My sister in law had a boy and I finally felt brave enough to pull out my Christmas gift, an embroidery machine. It's so intimidating. I feel like I need to take a class on how to use it, ha. But I think I got the basics down, and it's so much fun. So now for birthday presents too (if its a girl) i've been embroidering there first letter on a tank. I'm so glad Tori and Taylor are both T's because they wear the same size practically :). So then that started a craze for embellishing tank tops. I feel like I want to change them twice a day so they can wear all the cute ones i've been making, hee hee. And in the mean time I finished Taylor's Easter dress and my (coordinating of course) skirt, but never seem to get to Tori's. I forgot I should have had it done the Sunday before since Easter was conference, but now my goal is by this coming Sunday. I just wanted to post these so that I had something to show for my hours of not cleaning my house, or cooking, or playing enough with my children. At least I did something, right?

I just love this fabric that I got from my favorite store, Hobby Lobby. It came with the layers already sewn on it so i seriously just sewing a halter and added little cap sleeves, so easy.

I finally figured out how to make a bubble skirt.

My next baby is going to be so overloaded with his or her name and letter on everything, lol.
I made this for a gift, but was so tempted to keep this little tunic except for the face I don't have a girl that small. :)
Thanks for letting me share my madness!!
