I had so much fun making these skirts, and bows, and necklaces. I got the fabric from in L.A. when I went on that girls trip, and finally made something out of it. I just wish I could have found myself the same cardigan sweater as theirs.

My little cuties!

Dang it's hard to get a good picture!

Grandma Teri took Tori and I to get a manicure-pedicure, Tori's first real one. You can see her cute nails. Anyways, so I was picking out my nail polish and as I grabbed one off the shelf, the bottom half of the nail polish fell to the floor and spun around 500 times all over me and the place. Some idiot didn't screw the lid on. So I have purple nail polish on my white jacket, favorite pair of jeans, new flip-flops, and new blue shirt. A-noy-ying! What was dumb is the people working there didn't even move an inch to see if everything was okay. They just basically pretended it didn't happen. So I'm trying to be grateful for this fun treat, and I was just fuming inside that nobody cared that I just got attacked by their nail polish. Than their stinkin chairs were the massage kind and it bugged so I turned it off, but had what felt like 12 golf balls poking into my back. When I know something is bothering me I can't get it out of my head, so the whole time my mind was saying " your clothes are ruined, but be happy and smile for Grandma Teri who is so awesome for doing this, and your back is not comfortable, over and over again." But my toes are still really cute so oh well!

We were attacked!

So we went to California for Easter and those pics will soon follow, but this is what we saw when we opened our garage after our long trip home. Some maniacs decided to foil our entire garage, down to the shoes on the shoe rack. It was actually pretty impressive. I just couldn't believe someone would take the time to do such a "perfectionist" of a foil job in our garage. When we opened the garage door Brett and I were looking at each and I was like "What in the freakin heck is that?" I was seriously scared to open the door of our house, for fear it continued on.

Tori and Taylor were loving it the next day. You can see the red reflecting in the foil. The light bulbs were changed out for red ones to make it all that more eerie. So we find out it was two of our friends from our ward. They are crazy and hilarious. 10 rolls, 50 dollars, and 5 and a half hours later this is the result of our foiled mess.

They even foiled Taylor's glasses that were in the garage.

Here is one of the culprits now....he said it was a toss up between this, an above ground pool with floating snickers, or live chickens. I think this was the best choice.

Fun in the sun....

Here's Tori flashing the gang signs I taught her.

Our pool is too cold, but I love how you can give them a bucket and they still can have fun.

This picture almost looks x-rated, but those are really just inner thigh rolls!

Gotta love those rolls.

Viva Las Vegas...

My good friend Ashley always told us that when she turned 30, she wanted to take us on a fun trip. So, she decided on Las Vegas, and it was so much fun. We saw "Love", which is a Cirque du Soliel show done to The Beatles songs. It was very entertaining, but kind of 60's artsy, druggy, cycodelic at the same time. I still have the song, "All you need is Love" stuck in my head.

I swear there are malls every hundred feet, so we were in heaven with shopping. And of course eating is always the best too when you don't have your kids and you can just enjoy yourselves. We also saw Danny Ganns, a comedian who does singing impressions of famous musicsians. He was so great, I loved him.

We were a little camera happy on this trip, but I'm glad because usually I feel like I didn't take enough. These are my friends I was close with in highschool, so it was so fun to spend so much time with them. And I'm so happy our friend Jaime met us there from Utah because we hadn't seen her for almost a year. I made her freeze every night because for some reason I was always hot , and she's always cold. Maybe I'm going through menopause. One of my favorite parts was laying out by the beautiful pools and garden they have at The Wynn. It was funny because our layout session was cut short once the sun went behind the skyscraper hotels.

All of my them have already turned 30 and I am up in July. I love being younger than them now :). I thought that I would hate the thought of being 30, but it doesn't bother me at all. 30's the new 20 right?

So thanks Ashley, for spoiling all of us, it was an awesome trip. Next birthday, Hawaii ???Posted by Picasa

Santa Maria, Brazil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are so excited for my youngest brother, A.J. to go to on a mission. He got his mission call last Thursday, and you can see from the pics how anxious he was while waiting for all 60 of his friends to show up.

He couldn't wipe that smile off of his face.

He opened it and is going to Santa Maria, Brazil. It's the southern most part of Brazil, and supposedly has awesome weather. From the pics we've seen it's beautiful. Yay, A.J.!

Little Rugrats...

I know this is my header but I had to post it so it would get saved in my blog pics. I've been such a lame blogger lately. Here's a summary of the last few weeks. Taylor started vomiting a week before my girls trip, and it lasted for 6 days. It was soo sad. I would cry with her as she begged me for "Bite, bite." But I was still able to go and have a good time knowing that she was better. When I got back she seriously ate so much food, trying to gain back the weight she lost. I love it when my kids eat good.
Then two days later we had Tori's 4 year old party, and she told us it was the best day of her life.
A couple of days later my dog Chubbs got ran over by a truck. I took him to the hospital and thanks to everyone's prayers, he has fully recovered.
We've been to the zoo a couple of times and after three hours of train ride, goat petting, and walking I'm always ready to go home.
We went to Makuto's Island for Audreys birthday. I recommend wearing knee, and elbow pads if you have a daughter that is claustiphobic, peopleaphobic, slideaphobic, netaphobic, and loudboysaphobic, because you will be crawling through 2x2 foot small holes, just to pull yourself through 4 more. Then you will have fun army crawling through holes and nets while an annoying little boy behind you tells you to move and you tell him to chill out and stay back. Then you will tell your daughter to sit on your lap while you go down a slide that seems harmless, but really you go like 20 mph only to fly a foot off the ground, and then land on the hard floor. Then your poor child who you just told that the slide isn't scary, will scream in your ear for 5 minutes. Later she will tell you that you can go back down to the first floor because she feels pretty comfortable about this jungle gym. You tell her if she needs you to go to the net and look for you. So as you wait to see her worried face and you don't, you keep wondering where she is and imagine her in a corner crying for you. So you pump yourself up to crawl back up 7 flights of 2x2 foot holes, army crawl through 20 foot lengths, walk across a net, army crawl again, and hear a distant cry, "mommy." You frantically search until you see this precious face you know, with tears streaming down telling you,"I got stuck mom, I didn't want to go down the slide." Which really was about 3 feet long. Your heart is broken and you feel like a terrible person for leaving your claustiphobic, peopleaphobic, slideaphobic, netaphobic, and loudboysaphobic little girl in this crazy jungle gym. As you put her on your back she tells you,"Thanks for saving me mom!"
Really Makuto's Island is a dream for most kids, but of course my little Tori is special. I just feel for her because she really wanted to not be scared, but she just can't help it. I already know that Taylor will be so different in the same situation. She's so coordinated compare to Tori, but Tori at her age was already saying her ABC's. Taylor can almost "meow" like a cat. Were working on it!

3rd annual girls trip to the beach

This year my friend Shauni let us all use her family's beach house in Oceanside. I dream of this trip all year. Two of the days we slept in til eleven, so nice.

Here we are at the L.A. fashion district. You can get the best deals on so many things.

We ate at the Grand Lux Cafe at the Beverly Center. It's a sister company to Cheesecake Factory, so it was soo good.

The beach was so nice. We all layed out and read magazines.

We always fit in eating at Wahoos...they have yummy Mexican food.

Here's our final picture in front of the cute house. These trips go by way too fast..I'm already counting down til next year. On the way home, Leslie was driving my car and Missy was driving the other car, and both got speeding tickets together. So sad! Thanks girls for such a fun time!

Tori turns four!

Tori had been counting down the days til her birthday since last year.

This year we had her party at Peter Piper. I was on a girls trip the weekend right before and thought it would be easier that way. Plus Tori thought it was so much fun.

She was cracking me up with all these funny poses. I can't wait to show her them when she's older.

I love this little muffin head hitchin a ride on the back.

Here's Tori and all her princess friends.

I loved this Strawberry Shortcake Cupcake-cake, she picked out.

My favorite funny pose.

Here's Taylor saying, "Bite, bite." She loved the pizza and cupcakes.

Here's cute little Emster eating a napkin.

Four has been such a turning point for my little angel. She now falls asleep by herself, doesn't drink out of sippy cups :) (one of her many promises once she was four), wears shoes, jeans, and socks, and tonight she turned out her big night light and told me, "I'm not afraid of the dark anymore." She said it with a " duh "attitude. Tori is the life of our family. I love her crazy, quirky, obedient, considerent, teasing, smart, ocd, loving, curious, and beautiful personality that keeps me on my toes.

Hallelujah, hallelujah, halle-e-lu-jah!

Do you see what I see? Tori finally decided she doesn't have a toe problem anymore and can wear shoes over her toes. It is so great, I can't even tell you. Another huge milestone at the same time, is she lets us read to her and then she falls asleep alone. Ever since she was in a big girl bed she would beg us to lay next to her, because she said,"I'm a little girl, and I get scared when I'm alone." So for the past two years we layed by her till she fell asleep. She'll be four in a couple of days, and she really has gotten so mature for her age. She is such a sweetheart lately.

She also hasn't complain about her underwear being up her bootie. So her outfits now involve everything she would never wear. Take this outfit meshed with Taylor's 18 month old shirt she wanted to wear. I felt really sick today, so I didn't care that she looked like Punky Brewster.
