Boots in the summer and marker mania
Taylor wanted to wear her boots, so of course Tori had to also. So then at the gym Tori was also wearing her sunglasses, and everyone was calling her, "Hollywood." She was loving all the attention.
Taylor seriously gets into everything!
I thought she was extra quiet eating her breakfast, and realized she poured half the syrup into her plate and was massaging it into her hands. When I told her no she did her usual squinty nose smile and laughed.
Happy Cinco De Mayo!
This girl can't get enough of everyone's shoes, and she's a pro and wearing them.
Here's my two little monkeys in my bed. i love double chins!

10 year anniversary
So on the 15th Brett and I had our 10 year anniversary. We totally planned on going somewhere like New York or Hawaii, but we just didn't plan ahead enough. So then I thought we should at least go to Scottsdale and stay in a resort, but no didn't plan that either. So instead we just went out for dinner and a movie and got a glamour shot of us in front of our new garage wall in progress. Look, Brett even shaved for me! The funny thing is, I could care less about some extravagent vacation. I really am so lucky to have met Brett, and to have tricked him into falling in love with me. :)
10 things that have changed in our ten years of marriage:
1. We no longer eat "chicken voila" every night. ( That stuff was soo good for a while)
2. There is more than a five - ten pound weight difference between Brett and I. (Hallelujah)
3. Our little fights now last about 2 minutes instead of 2 days.
4. We don't go out to the movies and dinner every friday and saturday night. It's more like maybe, twice a month.
5. We aren't the "young couple" in our ward anymore.
6. We have two amazing and beautiful girls.
7. We don't get to take 10 day vacations every couple of months.
8. We almost have to schedule alone time so that we can catch up on each others week sometimes.
9. We look alot older than we used to.
10. I've realized what a lucky girl I am to have such a great husband.

Naughty girl...
You might think I look innocent and cute, but really I'm the definition of naughty. I smile as I hold out my hands to pinch, push, and pull hair from my older sister. And when my mom says no, I just grin even bigger. When I do it three more times in a row, and she slaps my hand I just look at her and chuckle. But, after making my sister scream, I'll throw in a couple of hugs to trick them into thinking I'm cute again. Ya, life is good.

Tori's picture day and Easter in California
I thought Tori looked like such a doll for her preschool picture day.
And of course Taylor did too :).
So last minute we decided to go to Brett's parents for Easter. Tori loves making faces for the camera. We had so much fun there. I annoyingly lost my phone there. :(
Grandma Teri bought all the cousins a build a bear and Taylor picked out this pink monkey. She is seriously so attached to it. It's so cute because it velcros around her neck and she wears it like that to the gym. Whenever she wants it or sees it she goes "ooo-oo-aa."

Tori dyed eggs for at least an hour. She was in Heaven with her Grandma Teri.
I even showed Tori this picture, but she swears she never fell asleep, she was just "resting her eyes."
Grandma Teri took Tori and I to get a manicure-pedicure, Tori's first real one. You can see her cute nails. Anyways, so I was picking out my nail polish and as I grabbed one off the shelf, the bottom half of the nail polish fell to the floor and spun around 500 times all over me and the place. Some idiot didn't screw the lid on. So I have purple nail polish on my white jacket, favorite pair of jeans, new flip-flops, and new blue shirt. A-noy-ying! What was dumb is the people working there didn't even move an inch to see if everything was okay. They just basically pretended it didn't happen. So I'm trying to be grateful for this fun treat, and I was just fuming inside that nobody cared that I just got attacked by their nail polish. Than their stinkin chairs were the massage kind and it bugged so I turned it off, but had what felt like 12 golf balls poking into my back. When I know something is bothering me I can't get it out of my head, so the whole time my mind was saying " your clothes are ruined, but be happy and smile for Grandma Teri who is so awesome for doing this, and your back is not comfortable, over and over again." But my toes are still really cute so oh well!

We were attacked!
So we went to California for Easter and those pics will soon follow, but this is what we saw when we opened our garage after our long trip home. Some maniacs decided to foil our entire garage, down to the shoes on the shoe rack. It was actually pretty impressive. I just couldn't believe someone would take the time to do such a "perfectionist" of a foil job in our garage. When we opened the garage door Brett and I were looking at each and I was like "What in the freakin heck is that?" I was seriously scared to open the door of our house, for fear it continued on.
Tori and Taylor were loving it the next day. You can see the red reflecting in the foil. The light bulbs were changed out for red ones to make it all that more eerie. So we find out it was two of our friends from our ward. They are crazy and hilarious. 10 rolls, 50 dollars, and 5 and a half hours later this is the result of our foiled mess.
They even foiled Taylor's glasses that were in the garage.
Here is one of the culprits now....he said it was a toss up between this, an above ground pool with floating snickers, or live chickens. I think this was the best choice.

Fun in the sun....
Here's Tori flashing the gang signs I taught her.
Our pool is too cold, but I love how you can give them a bucket and they still can have fun.
This picture almost looks x-rated, but those are really just inner thigh rolls!
