2008 Spring Photo Shoot

I have a black sheet at home that I drape over our couch to take pictures of the girls with. I thought these pictures turned out so cute that I just had to share! It plays music so pause my music at the bottom.

Nothin Special

I've been painting for someone the last couple of days, and Brett watched the girls. As you can see he let Tori dress herself and left her bed head for the day. We acid washed our pool and refilled it to get it ready for the summer. Brett took Tori swimming already.
I got the girls new swimsuits and Tori begged me to also try Taylor's on her, so I couldn't resist taking a picture. I love Taylor's deer in headlights pose.
Tori kept telling me that she made my room so so pretty and this is what I found. :) And no I don't actually where those scrunchy's!

Tori never crawled because she would scream if we ever put her on her stomach, so I love that Taylor actually likes to do this. Someday I will have a baby that actually crawls!

What the?

Remember this happy picture? Well, it all changed when the screw decided to fall out of the stucco. I was talking to Brett at the time and all the sudden couldn't figure out why I was looking up at him. Then we both got wide eyed and realized Taylor was face down in the grass. Poor baby! She didn't get hurt too bad just a little red mark on her head from the wood pole hitting her. Tori was luckily on my legs. At least my head landed in the grass.

Dinner with the Yucaipians

This weekend Brett's friend Mike and his wife Lindsey were in town. Mike, Jake, Brett, Andrea, Ashton, and I have all lived in Yucaipa, California. We went out to dinner at Gordon Biersch(?) It was a pretty good resturaunt, but the service wasn't very good. After chatting for 30 minutes we realized we never heard from our waitress yet. Anyways, it was so fun. It was the first time I left Tori and Taylor with a real babysitter so it was so great to get out. Afterwards we walked around the new San Tan mall which I had never seen, and now love. Then we watched "Dan in Real Life," at Jake and Wendy's. I seriously loved that movie!

Ahhhhh!

So last night after going out to dinner with some friends I come home to see this on the fridge.
It's not gum it's sparkly silly puddy. Brett said she had it stuck on both sides, but he couldn't get it out of the left side. So I'm doing her hair this morning trying to see if I can tell where it is and yep he gave her a side burn!
I guess it's not too noticeable once her hair is down, but I don't think piggy tails are going to be too cute anymore.

I asked Tori why she put it in her hair. Her response, "No, I did'nt put it in my hair I was putting it in my ears for plugs and then they got stuck, that's what happened!"

We made these awesome Easter hats and followed Tori around the house doing the bunny hop. I'm think I'm going to start selling them on Etsy. What do you think?

Nice Weather!

I'm so happy for the nice weather. Tori and her friend Keia love playing outside and running through water.


I feel like summer is going to come too fast. My only wish now is to not blind people with my white legs. Poor Tori inherited that from me too!

My Princess Turns Three!

Today was Tori's birthday and she wanted (Okay, I did) a princess party. Her friends arrived in princess attire and were the cutest things ever. It was actually such a laid back party. All of the girls were so calm and quiet. Tori did her normal present opening where she is so dramatic that she sounds like she is crying, but she's trying to show how excited she is. There was dancing, a pinata that fell down before the candy did, pin the crown on the princess, a cupcake cake that only Tori ate in five seconds while the other girls daintily ate in 15 minutes, princess crafts, and of course a princess photo shoot. After the girls left Tori crashed on the couch. Here's a montage of the party.

Laundry I actually Love!

I seriously hate laundry! I always wait too long in between to wash loads so I have to do 6 loads in one day. But for some reason the putting away is the most annoying part of it. Then I get all of it done and feel accomplished, and two days later I'm behing again! I hope in heaven our clothes never have to be washed.

Happy Birthday Jaime, I miss you! This video is for you. Everyone else needs to watch it too because you will die when you realize this girl does this for a living.
My brother is in a band and this girl is playing after him tonight. I guess she's on tour from Iowa. It's a little long but you won't be able to stop watching because she is freakin hilarious. Seriously, this girl is crazy!

Biting Problems!

I couldn't resist adding these pictures just because.

Tori has a problem accidentally biting her finger sometimes when she's putting food into her mouth. Wierd I know! Has this ever happened to anyone else's kid? She bites it hard enough to start crying hysterically, and I have to try not to laugh. The video below is really for my mom, who will let me show her anything my kids do and think its cute. Isn't that what mom's are for? Like when they're newborns and you can call your mom to tell her how proud you are of your baby's poop because that means she's not constipated. And she'll be so interested in it..

You'll think I'm such a great mom for the song I'm trying to get Tori to sing. She has her own plans though.

3. I never had a "boyfriend" until Brett. No, I wasn't a nerd, I just never liked a guy long enough to want him as a boyfriend.
4. I love freshly squeezed grapefruit juice.
5. I was in a highschool beauty padgeant when I lived in Kentucky. (After it was over my sister and I swore never to do anything like that again!)
6. I love making new friends, and not just casual ones. I love making really good new life long friends. (It has to do with moving so much a kid.)
