Finger Painting

Note to self: finger painting is messier than can imagine and saying no will not stop her from painting her body!

On thursday night I went to my brother's graduation at Mt. View. It rained the whole time! We brought trash bags for waterproofing, hats, and ponchos. We also brought towels, blankets, and I had an umbrella. It was really cold, but entertaining at the same time. The poor graduates were on the field shivering. Later we had to walk back in the rain to our car which was parked a mile away, maybe half. This montage site charges you now for good music so I tried to pick something I knew A.J. would love.:)

It's a Hard Knock Life!

Tori had her dance recital over the weekend. She was so cute! They danced to Annie's "Hard Knock Life." I tried to find the smallest tights I could but they still look like stretch pants. I wish they didn't have to wear them.
The sad part was ever other little girl class wore the cutest little dress costumes, and Tori class had the wierd big bow, bloomer outfit. She still made it look so dang cute.
My mom came and held Taylor while she seriously rocked out to every song. It was so funny! Anytime she heard music she would start head banging. She looked like she was mentally handicapped or something.

Celebrity Morph by MyHeritage

It's kind of crazy how well I morph into Kathryn but I still think I look nothing like her.

MyHeritage: Family trees - Genealogy - Celebrities

My cuties!

I go on spurts making the girls jewelry and hair bows. It's always interesting trying to make stuff while Tori pretends they are people, such as the beads or the hot glue sticks. When I'm done I have beads covering the floor, with flower, glitter, rhinestones, lace, and all sorts of other fun things all over the place. But after they wear them I see it was worth the trouble.
Taylor is seven months now and rolling all over the place. She is such a grabber. Anything within a foot of her she dives for. She is such a sweet little chunk of love. I just want to squeeze her chubbiness all day long!

Tori has been asking lately if she can take pictures of me and Taylor. Taylor is sporting a nice little boogie in this one. Tori's latest sayings, "I don't love you anymore" "I'm not gonna play with you anymore" "I still love you though (If she pees her pants)" . She was going through some crazy stage lately where I felt like I needed to tranquilize her with something to calm her down. She would freak out over the simplist things, like if I assumed she wanted her drink in a sippy cup (which she always does). But thankfully my old Tori is back with her pleases, thank-yous, I love yous, and constant kisses on my arm. I wonder how long she'll be back this time.

Too funny not to post!

I went back and looked at the pictures and realized I missed this one. I hope she likes me more as she gets older!

Raquel Victoria Thompson

My sweet little niece is finally here! She was born on April 30th, and weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces, and was 19 and a half inches long.
She had the longest little toes!
I totally think she has Kristine's nose and lips. She was so sweet! When I changed her diaper I seriously couldn't believe how tiny her little bum was. When I was burping her she was standing up on my stomach. My six month old won't even stand up when we hold her up. She just pulls her legs up to her chest, wierd I know!

First trip to Disneyland with the girls, very long post

This is Taylor and I at Disneyland at night. She was such a sweepea the whole day and I'm so annoyed at how out of order these pics are.

This picture was supposed to be last. Kobie, Kensley,( who just got blessed), and Taylor. Poor Lilli the oldest of the babies had RSV so she is not in the picture.
Here's Tori stuffing her face with cotton candy.
Here's Tori in Minnie's house with her favorite smile lately.
This picture describes are trip in so many ways. Taylor just chillin, Tori whining, I look like I'm bloated , and Brett is just great.
Tori and Grandma Teri in a fake teacup.
Brett and I posing for Prom.

Disneyland was so much fun, but a little too hot. I wore jeans and tennis shoes and was roasting. Taylor was sooo good. Tori only had about 7 tantrums, but over all it was a good day. It was a little too stimulating for her to be able to stay normal.
Here's Tay sporting the ring around the collar look, from Tori trying to give her a drink from a water bottle. I was surprised to find out we were aloud to take Taylor on all the kid rides. My favorite was when Brett, Tori, Taylor, and I all got to sit together in the Haunted Mansion.
This was Tori's favorite part, "the princesses" teaching you how to be a proper princess.
Here's her practicing the princess wave.
Here's her and her cousin Lucy sitting in the chair that Cinderella just read them a story from.

Nothin Special

I've been painting for someone the last couple of days, and Brett watched the girls. As you can see he let Tori dress herself and left her bed head for the day. We acid washed our pool and refilled it to get it ready for the summer. Brett took Tori swimming already.
I got the girls new swimsuits and Tori begged me to also try Taylor's on her, so I couldn't resist taking a picture. I love Taylor's deer in headlights pose.
Tori kept telling me that she made my room so so pretty and this is what I found. :) And no I don't actually where those scrunchy's!

Tori never crawled because she would scream if we ever put her on her stomach, so I love that Taylor actually likes to do this. Someday I will have a baby that actually crawls!

What the?

Remember this happy picture? Well, it all changed when the screw decided to fall out of the stucco. I was talking to Brett at the time and all the sudden couldn't figure out why I was looking up at him. Then we both got wide eyed and realized Taylor was face down in the grass. Poor baby! She didn't get hurt too bad just a little red mark on her head from the wood pole hitting her. Tori was luckily on my legs. At least my head landed in the grass.

Dinner with the Yucaipians

This weekend Brett's friend Mike and his wife Lindsey were in town. Mike, Jake, Brett, Andrea, Ashton, and I have all lived in Yucaipa, California. We went out to dinner at Gordon Biersch(?) It was a pretty good resturaunt, but the service wasn't very good. After chatting for 30 minutes we realized we never heard from our waitress yet. Anyways, it was so fun. It was the first time I left Tori and Taylor with a real babysitter so it was so great to get out. Afterwards we walked around the new San Tan mall which I had never seen, and now love. Then we watched "Dan in Real Life," at Jake and Wendy's. I seriously loved that movie!
