She Bit Me!

That first lovely picture is a bite mark on my shoulder. I was in the bathroom with my two girls, and Tori started falling off the make-up bench. It was like slow motion. She fell to the ground and hit her head. So I picked her up and tried to comfort her, but all the sudden I realized she was biting my shoulder. So I set her down and almost started crying myself. She just bit down as a reflex, not knowing my flesh was in her teeth. Later I was teasing saying, "Tori, why did you bite me?" And Tori said, "I thought you were food!"
I took Taylor to her four month appointment and surprisingly found out she is in the 96th percentile in height and 78th in weight. This is so foreign to me because Tori was barely on the charts in weight and average in height. Anyways, I wanted to capture the eight rolls on her stomach.

Little Chunkster!

No, I'm not bored! Well, kind of.

Tori came down the stairs like this. My fairy bag lady.

And too cool for school baby.

Sup?

Tutu Time

For Valentines Day my friend Kendra and I made tutu's for our girls. They love them. It only took like 15 hours and I could of just bought them for 18 dollars and I paid 20, but what's the fun in no stress! Once I'm in the project I'm always wondering what I was thinking!
I had to add this cute picture of the girls with their dad. And don't tell me that Taylor looks just like Brett too!

Valentine Post

I think this is the best picture I have taken of these two. I can't believe they were both looking at me and smiling! My little baby has been sooo good to me and Tori has been such a sweetheart. I have seriously been in heaven lately with these girls. When I look at this picture it reminds me that even though I can feel exhausted and tired from all the work that seems to go unnoticed as a mom, that its worth it. I'm sure next week I tell you my kids have the flu and I'm going insane, but for this moment it's all good!

Girls Trip!

I just went on a girls trip to Newport Beach this past week. I went with my friend Heidi and a bunch of girls in her ward. I went last year so I already new a lot the girls this time. Girls trips are the funnest things ever. It's like I forgot that your stomach can start hurting from laughing so much. Before I left I was so excited to go and get a full nights sleep with out a baby. Little did I know that we weren't gonna go to sleep earlier than 3:00 am every night. Brett asked me what we were doing that made us stay up so late and pretty much it's a vacation for talking and laughing. I don't know why it's so fun to get ready for 3 hours to go on a bike ride but it is! I also don't know why when a bunch of girls get together it's fun to do the "diva" poses, but it is. I made some really good friends this trip (you know who you are-my preeecious!) We ate mexican food at least once a day. Our eating schedule was breakfast at 11:00, lunch at 4:00, and dinner at 10:00. My body is so messed up right now. I'll probably wake up tonight for a midnight snack! Here is a montage of our trip. Excuse all the "diva" poses, we were pretendig we were the the desperate housewives of Orange County.J/K

My embarrassing moments of the trip!

This is a lame re-enactment of when we were all walking and I ran into this post. Even strangers were laughing at me because of the noise I made when my legs hit it.

Last girls trip I bought some gas x for the first time because I know that eating out hurts my stomach if I not able to release gassous properties from my body, and I didn't want to do that around a bunch of girls. So this year it was a must have purchase. Needless to say they were passed around like breathmints. Anyways, when we were leaving the beach house I put all the extras in my pocket because they aren't cheap. Note to self: Don't leave in pocket when walking through metal detectors! At the airport when I set the metal detector off I had to pretend that I totally wasn't embarrassed about having to take them out of my pocket and putt them back through the xray machine. Lovely!

I parked my car at the airport so that I could leave from there because we were getting home to late for Brett to bring the kids to pick me up. When I went to pick up my car the battery was dead because I left the dome light on. I was so mad at myself! I was also going to bring one other girl home. So now 7 girls and about 20 bags of luggage( no exaggeration) had to fit into Heidi's Suv. We were all sitting on laps with the luggage packed to the ceiling. We decided it was a good my friend way to top the trip!

I love my Dad!

We go to my parents house every Sunday and I love it because we always get the best meals. My dad is the best cook. He made the best chicken tacos. He's always had a hard time when it comes to a lot of noise (such as grandchildren screaming). I told him that a couple of my girlfriends are the same way about noise. They don't like to have music or the T.V. on very much because of it. Anyways, next thing we know he comes out with his shooting ear phones. He can still hear, but it takes the edge off high pitch or loud noises. He's been wearing them every Sunday for about a month, and now he doesn't get irritated. I need to borrow them when Taylor starts teething!
I can't believe she's already 3 and half months old. It's gone by so much faster this time around.

My girls love their aunt Brittney!

Happy Birthday Teri!

I have a lot of friends that are always sharing their mother-in-law nightmare stories. I am proud to say that I have the best mother-in-law that I could have ever imagined. These are the reasons I love her:

  1. She's not controlling in any way. She'll even ask permission to change your baby's diaper and ask you how you want her to do it.

  2. She has such a heart! When she gives you a hug she almost squeezes the life out of you. She crys at anyone's pain or happiness because she truly feels it with you. This Christmas I was telling her a story about my family and she started crying and made me cry!

  3. She doesn't take herself too seriously. On many occasions she has burped the loudest burps I have ever heard. (Brett definetly gets that from his mom).

  4. She's the most relaxed person I've ever been around. On Thanksgiving one year in the middle of making the feast, she set up frosting and sprinkles for the grandkids to decorate cookies in the middle of the kitchen. I'm talking about like ten bowls of different sprinkles. After that I decided I needed to be less stressed when it came to things like that, because the kids are more important than the meal.

  5. She's so complimentary. She's always complimenting me on what a good mom I am, how beautiful she says I look, and never criticizes anything I do. She always sets me up, like this Christmas she had the all the tables all cute with the food dishes. She asked me if I would help decorate it. I added a couple of ornaments and she acted like I did everything and then bragged to the 37 people there about how great of a job I did, when really it was her.

  6. She loves to please the grandkids. Last time she was at my house she was helping Tori go potty and let Tori use her back as a stool at the base of the toilet. Now that's love. Another time she was helping Tori use her kiddy nail polish which you paint and then sprinkle glitter on. The glitter accidentally spilled all over Teri's nice rug so she just started dipping her's and Tori's fingers into the rug!

  7. She worries about me. I am known to have to eat food every couple hours or I start feeling irritable or dizzy. Brett's family on the other hand has to remember to eat when they're reminded of what time it is. She always asks me if I need anything because she knows how I am. If we're coming to visit she goes to the store and buys us all the things she knows we like or need.

  8. She's sooo thoughtful. For Christmas or birthdays she gets you anything you have hinted at liking or gives money so you can pick it out yourself. For Christmas in our stocking she always gets me Luna bars, and I love knowing that she really thinks about what I love. After I had Taylor she bought me a digital camera with it's own printer. We'll I ran over my diaper bag and it had the camera in it of course. So what does she do? She sends me another one and adds a cute camera case with it. I almost feel bad to buy her things because I know the next time I see her she'll be wearing the pants I got her for her birthday, the shirt I got her for Christmas, and the necklace I made her for mother's day even if they don't match. She really wants you to know that she loves what you got her. So sweet!

  9. She loves her kids with all her heart. She will do anything for her kids when they need it. She's always been the greatest mom to Brett and I know that's why he's so great!

  10. Last but not least, she is so cute! She's like 5'2 and weighs probably 105. She has the prettiest blue eyes and big dimples. She's always smiling her big beautiful smile. I love you Teri!

Piggy tails finally!

Tori was bald for soo long. This is her about a year and a half ago. I was so excited yesterday when I could put all of her hair in piggy tails. I think it makes her look even older. I can't stand how cute they are on her! Isn't it amazing what hair can do for a little girl!

I just love how she is wearing one of Taylor's socks on her hand! She wouldn't take it off.

These last two days Tori has played with her cute cousin Audrey and she has been in heaven.

Whenever Audrey has to leave Tori has a hysterical breakdown. Full on tears and all.

Stacey's Birthday

On Friday night we went out to BJ's pizza for my friend Stacey's birthday. I have been trying to diet to get rid of my spare tire so I ate dinner before hand and just watched everyone eat. It was still fun to visit and I did take one bite of her Pazzuci. (That just doesn't sound right!) Anyways, I met Stacey in Mesa when Brett and I lived in our town house. I actually convinced her to move to Queen Creek with us. She's such a great friend to have because she's always there when you need her most.
NO Camie your face does not look fat, you look hot!

After dinner we went to the 10:20 showing of "27 dresses." It was a really cute, funny, and quirky movie. I almost didn't go because I knew we wouldn't get home til about 1:00 a.m. I thought people were always either a morning or a night person, but I decided I'm neither. I am just a day person. I hate being up early and I get grumpy when I'm up too late. I think it has something to do with getting up with kids. (I sound like such a fun person!)

Bowling!

My friend Kimmy let us come with her and her sisters bowling. Tori loved it. They have they cool ramps that they can push the balls down.

Yes, I got a strike! She actually did one time.
This is my friend Kimmy who is due in a month a she was bowling strikes the whole time!

This is Kimmy's little girl Maggie that Tori always looks up to (literally). When we were driving home Tori asked me when we were gonna go back to the "valley." I finally figured out she was talking about the bowling alley. Love it!

Going to the ball

We were at my parents house this weekend when my cute brother A.J. was getting ready for Winter Formal. I told Tori he was going to the ball and she was so excited about it. She was really sad when we told her she couldn't go too.

Here some pictures I took the other day that make me smile!

My Favorite Christmas Present!

Tori loves cooking with me so I asked my mother in law for matching aprons for Christmas. She had Brett's cousing make them and they are the cutest things I've ever seen. If you look close you can see the little pom poms she sewed on them.
I bribed Tori with a spoon to get her to pose.

Do you see something missing in this picture?
