Dauveed's Birthday!

July 11th was the date, but I'll post it now okay. We all met at Red Robin for fun birthday festivities. Aren't Dave and Katie so cute here!

My little brother just turned 27. We are only one year apart for 13 days a year.
In the car on the way there I was trying to tell Tori that she needs to give uncle Dave a hug cuz it's his birthday. She said, " but he always give big, monster hugs, so I don't want too!" So this picture is funny because it took her a while to get up the courage to give him a hug.

Taylor could care less about monster hugs, she's lovin her uncle.

4th of July Weekend

Brett's sister Cammie and her family came out for the fourth and they are so much fun. Their cute girls Bailey and Lucy are Tori's favorite. I don't think Tori has ever swam so much in her life.

Cammie got them matching jammies. It was funny because we were in the pool and Tori came outside from the house and was frantically asking me, "who's dresses are in the family room?" I had no idea what she was talking about. So she brought out the princess jammies on hangers with a stressed look on her face. She screamed with excitement when she found out one of the "dresses" was for her. Then she got mad at me when I told her she couldn't wear it in the pool.
On Saturday, I went to girls camp. It was a lot of fun exept for the bugs and spiders. I only stayed til Sunday so it was perfect time away from my girls. I missed them just enough to be renewed with energy for another week. Okay maybe for only a day, but at least it was something. Today I fit all of Tori's hair in a pony tail for the first time. It is so cute and she looks older with it. Anyways in the car on the way to lunch she says, "this is the best day of my life!" All because her hair is now long enough for a pony tail. She cracks me up.
I have no idea why Brett gets mad at me for the things I let Taylor play with.

2 birthdays with one carrot cake...

My Mom and Brett have the same birthday so I made them a cake to share on Sunday. Brett loves when I make homade carrot cake, but it's seriously an evil cake. It has about 700 calories for 1/12 of the cake.
Don't worry mom I won't reveal your age. I seriously have the best mom. I call her almost every day to tell her all my problems of the day, and I always feel better afterwards. She's so laid back, too bad I got my high strung genes from my dad! I can never get her to stop saying sorry for things she doesn't do. Like if I forget to bring Taylor's formula and need to go buy some an apology from her will follow. Your the best mom, love you!
I shaved Brett's head last week because he's been outside working lately. I'm still trying to get used to it. Brett just turned 32. I headed into the 30's and I'm getting used to the idea now.

A non-poster lately....

I haven't felt like posting lately, but I'm finally doing it. We've just been swimming alot this summer so far and I still am albino white, go figure. Taylor has been teething so bad these past two weeks and I feel so drained from trying to keep her mind off of it. Poor baby! Pray for me!
This is my adorable neice who's name changes frequently and is for the moment back to Raquel. I just call her cutie.
I found these cute decals for our toes and about died when I saw that they fit on Taylor's little toes! I don't know where these girls get their white skin.
Here's my friends from highschool. We all try to get together a couple of times a year and it's hard since two of them live out of state now. My cute friend Kimmy didn't get the memo that it was gloomy grey shirt night. And I'm gonna give a shout out to you Ash since I know you are reading this and I hope you approve because I think you look super cute in this pic. I'd like to give another shout out to Kendra who is also a silent reader, I miss you!

This post is over due but oh well. We finally took pictures with all the grandkids on my side. Taylor looks like an albino, enormous baby next to Emilee ( formerly Raquel). She has been so much fun lately. She waves now just not when I want her to, and she knows how to use her pincher skills. I can't leave any onion skins within her rolling radius. My favorite thing she does all the time is her growling. At church when it's all quiet her growling is awesome.

A couple of weeks ago Brett's brother and his wife came for a couple of days. This is their baby Kobie who is the same age as Taylor. They loved and entertained each other even though they were always trying to rip each others faces off.

Finger Painting

Note to self: finger painting is messier than can imagine and saying no will not stop her from painting her body!

On thursday night I went to my brother's graduation at Mt. View. It rained the whole time! We brought trash bags for waterproofing, hats, and ponchos. We also brought towels, blankets, and I had an umbrella. It was really cold, but entertaining at the same time. The poor graduates were on the field shivering. Later we had to walk back in the rain to our car which was parked a mile away, maybe half. This montage site charges you now for good music so I tried to pick something I knew A.J. would love.:)

It's a Hard Knock Life!

Tori had her dance recital over the weekend. She was so cute! They danced to Annie's "Hard Knock Life." I tried to find the smallest tights I could but they still look like stretch pants. I wish they didn't have to wear them.

The sad part was ever other little girl class wore the cutest little dress costumes, and Tori class had the wierd big bow, bloomer outfit. She still made it look so dang cute.

My mom came and held Taylor while she seriously rocked out to every song. It was so funny! Anytime she heard music she would start head banging. She looked like she was mentally handicapped or something.

My cuties!

I go on spurts making the girls jewelry and hair bows. It's always interesting trying to make stuff while Tori pretends they are people, such as the beads or the hot glue sticks. When I'm done I have beads covering the floor, with flower, glitter, rhinestones, lace, and all sorts of other fun things all over the place. But after they wear them I see it was worth the trouble.

Taylor is seven months now and rolling all over the place. She is such a grabber. Anything within a foot of her she dives for. She is such a sweet little chunk of love. I just want to squeeze her chubbiness all day long!

Tori has been asking lately if she can take pictures of me and Taylor. Taylor is sporting a nice little boogie in this one. Tori's latest sayings, "I don't love you anymore" "I'm not gonna play with you anymore" "I still love you though (If she pees her pants)" . She was going through some crazy stage lately where I felt like I needed to tranquilize her with something to calm her down. She would freak out over the simplist things, like if I assumed she wanted her drink in a sippy cup (which she always does). But thankfully my old Tori is back with her pleases, thank-yous, I love yous, and constant kisses on my arm. I wonder how long she'll be back this time.

Raquel Victoria Thompson

My sweet little niece is finally here! She was born on April 30th, and weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces, and was 19 and a half inches long.

She had the longest little toes!

I totally think she has Kristine's nose and lips. She was so sweet! When I changed her diaper I seriously couldn't believe how tiny her little bum was. When I was burping her she was standing up on my stomach. My six month old won't even stand up when we hold her up. She just pulls her legs up to her chest, wierd I know!
